SURGICAD Solid Humerus is a software package used to convert segmentedbinary volume data into a nonuniform rational b-spline (NURB) surfacedsolid model. This creates the model that is used in the CAD portion ofthe software. It allows the user to make NURB surface representations ofregularly sampled data such as skeletal structures in sets of CT slices.Solid Humerus is customized to recognize the shape of a Humerus andcreate a well defined NURB surface model.
